Carte Blanche Home and Design is the culmination of a lifelong passion and decades-long journey. Our Story began with a humble foundation in construction and renovation where we honed our craft and cultivated a keen eye for detail. Organically, our focus shifted to include interiors and design, hand selecting timeless pieces tailored to each unique space. This natural progression led to the creation of our home store, where we showcase exquisite furnishings, fabrics, and decorative elements.
Our Next Chapter
After a long-awaited journey, Carte Blanche proudly unveils its latest milestone: the acquisition and transformation of The Guiding Light. March 2024 marked the beginning of Carte Blanche's stewardship of the Guiding Light, a 45 year old mainstay in speciality lighting, shades and restoration.

INSPIRATION FOR COMPANY NAME
Blanche was my Maternal grandmother but also a french phrase which elicits a sense of freedom and empowerment. Marrying the two seemed so natural I never thought of an alternative.
PERSONAL DESIGN STYLE
My style is more of a collected-over-time sensibility and doesn't necessarily subscribe to any one design philosophy.
I am a rehab, remodel, restore, rebuild, knock down and create kind of designer.
For as long as I can remember I have seen the world around me not as it is, but what I could make it. To do that well you need to observe, listen, research and have the patience to see through some difficult transformations. This is my happy place.
